My name is Jordan Thompson, but when I'm on a microphone, in the boothe, or i have a pen and pad in my possession, then I'm Da MC By Da Name Of JT.
I was born in Temple, TX, moved around a lot, until I finally made Rich-City (Richmond), Va my place called home. 2nd amongst 4 children, living with my mother while commuting to VCU as a freshman, ending my second semester. My father is dead to me, dats all imma going to say about that.
My dream is to become a majorly signed rapper, under my dream label of Grand Hustle, and making my own label, called Royallty Records (yes with 2 lls). My older brother-in-law will manage me, and my success, and we'll be partners for life.
Now, what seperates me from any of the other 1,000s of rappers in Virginia (trust me, theres a lot more than you think), is me being me. My flow seems original, and I think it is. I have sort of a schizophrenic flow, lol. I have 4 rap personalities (swags, as refrences in my songs) and they all have there way of doing and handling things. 1. King JT, who claims to be the King of V@ and Rich-City. 2. Prince JT, who claims to be the Prince of The South, and will claim the thrown whenever T.I. steps down, but at the same time, he wishes to never take the crown from the King. 3. General JT, who is the General of VA's Finest, which is a supergroups of Virginia's finest rappers, singer, producers, djs, whatever. 4. and finally, there's MC JT, who is just doing this rap thing to feed his family, and get his mother out the hood.
With 4 personalities in one being, a heartfelt motive, and the determination to do my best times 10xs, I think I have what it takes to be heard, and make my dream a reality, even if people look at it as a fantasy. Imma still do me, and pray that the next voice i hear, is the one that listened to mine.
